About him
I'm told I look younger than my years - mid-60s, I'm told - but maybe people are just being kind - or maybe need new specs! You must judge from my photo (it was taken on 25 August 2018). Anyway, I'm certainly young in my ways and I like to keep myself fit. I'm slim to average build for my height (6'1") and I don't think I'm in too bad nick.
I have various interests including: Books, Films, Theatre, Dancing, Playing guitar and singing, Radio 4, DIY, Cryptic crosswords, Sudoku, and Bridge.
I'm young in my ways and I can be really daft and have people cracking up (with laughter, perhaps I should add!) But I can be serious and I'm quite interested in following the news and current affairs, as in politics etc, as opposed to the latest celebrity soap opera!
I live in Middlesbrough but no longer have any really strong ties here, so if I met the right lady I would certainly be happy to relocate.

I'm hoping to meet an attractive lady who possibly shares one or two of my interests. But I'm sure she'll have interests of her own which may well be new to me and in that case maybe I could get to share some of them and learn about them from her. Apart from all that, and I guess more importantly, she'll be a nice person with a good heart. But please don't be put off - I'm not expecting any living saints to be getting in touch!
