Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile.
I am slim, healthy and keep fit. I enjoy being outdoors; my sports include road cycling, trail running, walking, and water sports.
I appreciate the various aspects of life, from the excitement of a dinner dance to the quite moments too, reading, soaking up the countryside and enjoy good conversations.
I am happy, enjoy life and content with what I have achieved.
I find great pleasure in listening to music, and the spoken and written word.
I tend to have old-fashioned values, and have a good sense of humour, and have an in-built curiosity about life and the world.
Although retired, I currently work in support of a national Veterans Charity and a local organisation that takes visually-impaired people walking on the local hills.
I am confident, uncomplicated, honest, positive person; and I'm pretty adaptable.
I neither smoke, have tattoos or body piercings.
I am enthusiastic, young at heart, always happy to try out new ideas and visit new places or attempt new skills. Recently have become interested in history, especially how it has affected our landscape.
