Not having any photographs maybe explains the need to use my passport one for the profile picture; not having too much idea about self promotion is my apology for trying to say things about myself.
With liking of outdoor scenery along with activities I take part in walking groups as well as head out on my own regularly. To bolster the pictures here have included some photos that have been taken by others on walks.
Travel is another regular thing with a second home in the Pyrenees. These days it is mainly to there although in the past has been to a fair number of countries as well as round Britain.
Have no real obsessive intensity about anything.
Eat all types of food and will try most haven't come across before within reason.
Animals seem to be comfortable around me though do not have any of my own.
Retired for a while now from working with computers, brain hasn't seized up yet. Not taking any medication nor have previously so hopefully healthy.
Lots of things have changed in a relatively short period of time including in the last year or so moving to this area.
Just seen one of those awful battery garden implement adverts on television from the guy who tries to convince you their battery vacuum has enough charge to do your whole house (yeah right) which made me think perhaps I should mention some things you won't get from me. Certainly not his sugary smarminess nor misplaced over confidence.
You won't get someone who turns up in a hired or borrowed rolls royce, apart from because of the ridiculous waste of resources using the thing, just to create a false impression.
You will get someone with a down to earth attitude, who has experienced enough obstacles to have an understanding that despite every effort they can be unavoidable but doing your best to overcome things is all you can do.

Trying to summarize what you are looking for is almost impossible it is how you feel with someone that is the important factor. Comfortable, confident togetherness doesn't necessarily come from qualities you might think you would want a partner or friend to have.
A tolerance or even enjoyment of the occasional fairly lengthy car journey could be helpful.
