About her
I love my life despite being retired - I have a need to keep busy and have several hobbies, great interest in antique furniture and architecture. I enjoy company and having coffee in beautiful outdoor settings.
I am the luckiest person I know - always very positive and gentle, but at the moment very lonely for a very special companion. Being of the antique period myself I find I do not measure up to the high expectations of most men out there.
During my working life I have partly owned 2 x 2 person businesses, one working with textiles and one teaching communication with animals, this is still keeping me ticking over - along the way of life a lot of other work descriptions.......
My new life in UK started in November 2022 when I arrived alone from South Africa, now I have become settled here I am finding being alone is not entirely good, I enjoy my own space and my own company. It is a given that the right person will come along - as I say I am always lucky, my wishes are always answered.
Not wishing to sound vain; I do not look my age, but more importantly I don't behave elderly.
One of my wishes is to see more of England as it is my homeland and having been away for so long I have missed a lot. But a loving companion to share this with is going to be the ultimate answer to my wish.

Someone with a sense of humour to laugh with and a positive outlook, preferably with hobbies of his own, be a good listener, very caring, patient and understanding, well dressed, good to look at. Casual drinking, but not excessive. An absolute MUST...... someone to eat ice cream with.....

For a relationship to work - I would say respect for each other and an ability toconverse. Activities from my side are rather limited at present, as I am spending so much time alone, but I enjoy being outdoors - sunshine especially - I have a desire to travel within UK as with being away there is much I haven't seen, the Northern Lights are on my bucket list which I would want to view from the North of Scotland - steam trains have a place in my heart and travelling on them. I live near to the KWVR.
