I'm a divorcee and a widower, yet I am still hopeful of being a man needed, loved and leaned on by a woman who I will need, love and lean on for the rest of our lives.
Friends and acquaintances seem to value my sense of humour, honesty and willingness to BE a friend without hoping for anything in return.

I love nature, sometimes spend night in my garden under the stars just for the hell of it because I'm very sensual.
I worked for the Social Work Division of the The Children's Society for years, doing 'crisis intervention' work on a one-to-one basis with young people under 25 at two drop-in centre projects simultaneously on the south coast of England, one in Bournemouth and one in Weymouth.
Counselling and listening and assisting young people to overcome practical and emotional issues gave me added insight into, and empathy with, people more widely in my life and taught me that we are ALL individuals and can't just be categorised and labelled, especially not on shallow criteria like appearance and 'attitude'
I think life is too short for missing out on happiness because I haven't thought and seen beyond the surface.
