Truth is I’m more Arthur Askey than Trevor Howard , but I’m entering my fifties with a life-long obsession with the movies . From the cellar-club to Anna Neagle, Charlie Chan to Old mother Riley , afternoons in a darkened room and a silver screen still hold a magical appeal to me . I’m a professional comedy writer so laughs are guaranteed, but at exactly 5 ft 0 inches , you may think I’m having a laugh putting myself out here ! I’m a cheery, optimistic soul who’s never known love but has lived a thousand love-lives through the big screen .
