I'm an intelligent, easy going, straightforward widower with a lot of curiosity and simple, unpretentious tastes. I like things that are real or fun, preferably both. As they say: life is too serious to be taken too seriously!
A long-term relationship would be ideal, but let's just get to know one another first.
I took early retirement in 2013 and was widowed at the end of 2017.

Everyone is unique. It's impossible to define an 'ideal match'. Looking for straightforward and friendly with authenticity and integrity. All good relationships, of whatever kind, are based on trust and respect so that's what is important to me in an ideal match.
I have no family and would probably be best suited with someone who similarly has no family or only sees them occasionally.
