I live in a village in the Surrey Hills. The area is full of great walks and beautiful scenery so I get the opportunity to get a lot of walking in. I like travel particularly exploring the UK. I am widowed I lost my wife to MND. I believe I am a caring and honest person. I retired early after over 35 years in the software industry. After retirement I worked at a special need school but had to leave when my wife fell ill. I have just qualified as a bereavement counsellor. I am still training in counselling as I intend to volunteer at my local hospice when I complete the training. I like the cinema, theatre, music, walking, DIY, technology, treasure hunting in charity shops and antique fairs. I am told I can be quite romantic!
